I had just a small piece of fabric left over after I made the capris. So I cut out a pair of shorts. I was cutting it pretty close. I had to make the waistband a bit more narrower than pattern indicated. They turned out ok. This is the Ahoy shorts from Ottobre 03/09.

What an adorable outfit. Love that fabric and tulips make me think of the warm weather months (which can't come soon enough, we just had a snow storm at the end of last week). Your granddaughter is going to look adorable in this.
